I am always on the hunt for new exciting ethical fashion brands producing cool, funky togs. Stylish, sustainable clothing with a transparent supply chain. I’m a Mum that doesn’t want to look mumsy or mutton dressed as ….if you are too and care about what you wear then stick this lovely lot on your list to check out:

ASOS Made In Kenya T-Shirt With Embroidery.  Since 2010 ASOS has teamed up with the charitable initiative clothing workshop SOKO Kenya collaborating with a local primary school, asking children at the school to draw ‘what they see outside their window’. The ASOS design team has used these drawings to inspire a range of jersey sweats and structured short-suits embroidered with giraffes, elephants and the Kenyan landscape. These embroidered pieces are joined by red and black floral prints across dresses, skirts and peplum tops, all of which are made under fair-trade principles.

Grey & Floral LOVE Scoop Neck Sweatshirt  – At THE FMLY STORE you’ll find #GoodTees by Selfish Mother which raise funds for ace charities. Their philosophy is that style should not only look good, but help others, too. £10 from the sale of this LOVE  #GoodTees design goes to HELP REFUGEES, who get aid directly to the people who need it most. They are normal people like us who started an initiative to help others because they saw that refugee families desperately needed help and they weren’t getting it from ‘official’ channels. More info on the charities they support, here.

Lace knit miniskirt – from Danish brand AIAYU 70% llama wool & 30% silk blend thread. Sourced & refined locally in Bolivia in a WRAP certified factory.

Wide legged pull-on culottes  – from Ace & Jig. Made in India by experienced textile specialists weaving on ancient wooden hand looms. Their Indian partners share Ace & Jig’s core values and practice the holistic kaizen philosophy of continuing to improve. Not only do they provide free childcare, but they also use reclaimed water to grown organic produce for their employees.

Pleated Pants – from Pony Babe. Made in Brooklyn, NY from ultra-soft organic cotton and bamboo knit fabric.
