I recently discovered BUNOSILO, an ethically driven, clothing company with a spirit to change the fast fashion clothing industry. They make high quality, handmade, honest clothing in India.
They are also partners with Women Weave a fabulous charitable trust. Since its inception in 2002, Woman Weave have been working towards making handloom a profitable, fulfilling, sustainable and dignified income-earning activity particularly for women in rural areas of India.
I am marking today , March 8th, International Women’s Day by celebrating the social, economic and cultural achievement of these women.
BUNOSILO’s unique products are all individually made by hand with care, love and attention to detail
Each garment is personalised. BUNOSILO invited me to choose a piece from their stunning collection
I chose this beautiful hand spun, handwoven white cotton shirt. A timeless wardrobe staple. It arrived so beautifully packaged and presented.
I wore it to a private view at the Lisson Gallery last week. Smart style but would look great with jeans and sneakers too. Love a versatile piece that I know I’ll be able to wear in different ways. Keep an eye on my Instagram feed for more looks!
I love to showcase wonderful ethical brands that are trying to make a difference to people’s lives and our environment her on Ethical Tuesday
If you know an eco-friendly brand that you think needs a shout out please get in touch!
