Bit late posting this. I meant to share my amazing new playlist with you all Tuesday, the last day of January but blow me it’s now Thursday the second day of February! It would be such a waste of good music not to share though and there is so much good music out there that isn’t getting into peoples ears! I love building and curating playlists that suit the seasons, the day, the mood. My aim is to start as I mean to go on and post my monthly earworms right here.
Publishing playlists on my blog is something I’ve dabbled in but I’m determined to make this a fixture. Something I hope people will look forward to.
What to expect:
An eclectic mix of top tunes new and old.
Brooklyn band ‘Cigarettes after sex’ are my favourite new thing, there must be an album in the pipeline? In the same moody, mysterious genre is The Japanese House. Synth pop that sparkles with sadness. Love her Instagram account too! This leads us perfectly onto London Grammar, can’t wait for their new album release in March and then my favourite track from The XX’s faultless new album. A perfect package of pop noir!
January saw the release of two films with awesome soundtracks. Trainspotting 2 and La La Land. My favourites close the list. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I have this month.
Here are my January earworms – 31 tunes for 31 days
