I love it when ethical independent retailers get in touch for a collaboration. Wyatt and Jack who create sustainable bags and accessories from re-purposed beach deckchair canvas and retired bouncy castle vinyl PVC sent me on a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
They are based on the Isle of Wight and the workshop where their colourful creations are made is in Bembridge. I spent all my family holidays as a child in Bembridge and most weekends in the summer too. We’d sail over the solent in our little boat and it became our second home. I haven’t returned for twenty years and love the idea you can buy a bit of Bembridge. Fun, colourful seaside stuff given a second life as beautiful bags of all shapes, styles and sizes!
I live in Lewes and my local beach is Brighton. The lovely people at Wyatt and Jack sent me a snazzy pastel stripe Brighton beach bucket bag!
I’m on another family holiday at the moment with my children, making more memories at Studland Bay and although I’m not using my bag for towels and swimming cozzies (dream on) it’s stuffed full of everything else we need for a day of family fun! Check out my Instagram feed for updates!
Here are some of my other favourite Wyatt and Jack beautiful bouncy bags:
