I can’t believe we’re 3 weeks into 2017 and this is my first post of the year!

Last week I was back at my desk after 5 weeks away and struggling to get into the swing of things! This week I’m back on track and ready to relive a little of our incredible adventure. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll see my photo journal of our trip.

The imagination is a powerful force and we looked beyond what is to what could be to see a world so beautiful and so dramatic it opened our eyes and hearts. I enjoyed and appreciated every second of it.

It was essential I packed light as we all took a small rucksack each. I did need to pack for all weathers though. Here are a few of the key pieces that were worn…washed..worn..washed..

Monpe Japanese trousers  Lightweight, comfortable (elastic waist!)  I wore these perfect travel pants on hot days, cooler days and on all the flights. White cotton shirt from Zara bought about 5 years ago and still going strong. Loose cotton shirts are great for travelling they stay fresher for longer than t-shirts. My handcrafted Tilley hat rarely left my head. Guaranteed for life, UPF 50+ and perfect for those inevitable travel bad hair days!!

My favourite joggers ever from Finisterre kept me cosy on New Zealand’s South Island along with their Tocarne beanie. My LOVE sweater from Selfish Mother was the perfect layer for chilly evenings.

More of my travel snaps coming soon!
